Maria Regina College, St. Paul's Bay Primary Comenius Project

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

Flowers, animals, friends, the sea and the weather are some of the main features that make our everyday life more enjoyable. One of the main Comenius activities for this year was ‘Life is Beautiful’. First we made a web of all the aspects that make our life beautiful. During the brainstorming session we mentioned quite a lot of things such as the sun, clouds, trees, school, our drawings and playing with our friends. Without such things our life would be rather sad and boring. Then we went for a short walk, equipped with several photo cameras and we took with us the list of things we talked about in class.  We managed to take quite a lot of photos since we came across several things that were included in the list. Unfortunately we didn’t see any butterflies and ducks but we saw 2 cats walking by! We found it very difficult to take a photo of the sun since its bright light kept dazzling us!!! Finally, when we went back to school we took some pictures of ourselves, of some of our amazing drawings and of our stunning greenhouse.  It was a very enjoyable experience which helped us realise that even the smallest things can make our life extremely beautiful!!!
