WE ARE SONS OF EUROPE

The children worked on an artistic day revolving around this theme. Drama consisted of children pretending to be abroad visiting different countries. During their visits they told the audience about the different countries, including the flag, traditional food, places of interest and also about the folklore. Since in our school, children do not only come from European countries; during another activity, parents of foreign children in our school were invited over to cook their country's traditional food. All the children enjoyed having a taste of the world! Each and every class in school was decorated representing a country from which one of the children in class comes from, and children were also encouraged to wear costumes representing the country. Countries included: Congo, United Kingdom, and Belgium.
