In our school, the teaching language is Slovenian and it is attended by the children who belong to the Slovenian minority in Italy. One section has a special course in music where the learning of a musical instrument is compulsory. The school is very active in many fields especially in music events. The main language at school is not the language of the national majority. The school is located in an environment where problems of co-habitation and mutual acceptance sometimes may arise. Our school is attended by both pupils at risk of social exclusion and pupils with special needs or both.
